For 40 years the Company has been selling special purpose drilling machines. We still use the Electro Mechano range of drilling machines and unit heads which have stood the test of time and still perform efficiently and reliably. Originally, machines were sold into the circuit board manufacturing industry as well as general engineering and the heads were either operated manually or fed with air/hydraulic cylinders. CNC has now taken over for most applications although the original technology still has its part to play for simple, less demanding applications.

Today, bespoke CNC machines are supplied for small hole drilling applications where production requirements are high or special techniques are required. We use the Osai range of CNC systems to control our machines and give the flexibility and reliability required. Systems range from Single Axis Touch Screen Displays to Windows based Multi-axis Controls. Areas of particular expertise are pattern hole drilling in plates with multi-head machines to increase production, tube drilling with complex tapers and hole patterns and angled holes in a variety of parts.

Our Sub-Contract Small Hole Drilling Department provides us with the equipment and expertise to undertake trial drilling to prove the viability of a proposed drilling machine. The adjacent stores also puts a wide range of tooling at our disposal enabling us to select the correct tool for the job.
